LIVE Interior Architecture + Design - CURRENT WORK

One of our current projects is the renovation of a typical Wellington cottage built in the early 1900’s.

The brief is to enhance the character of the house by removing some dated detailing added during previous renovations, to provide lots of storage for books, and to give the rooms a feeling of cosiness and comfort.

The sketches show the two ends of the main living room. Floor to ceiling bookshelves flank a rebuilt window seat (below) and either side of the doors (above) through to the adjoining room.

Furniture is by the owner, set around a leather bound rug on polished floor boards.

LIVE designs lots of bookshelves and other storage units, kitchens and bathrooms. More examples are shown in our portfolio.
If you need bookshelves, storage for DVDs and CDs, or help with your kitchen and bathroom spaces, contact us today.

Wrap up warmly!

Best wishes

Philippa, Hiromi and Claire
